UP REWARDS THE DECEASED STUDENT, LEUTRIM GJINI WITH THE CERTIFICATE OF ACKNOWLEDGMENT “DISTINGUISHED STUDENT”

Marjan Dema, Rector of University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”, held a meeting with family members of Leutrim Gjini, a student of UP’s Faculty of Medicine, who passed away this September.

During the meeting, Dema shared the award “Distinguished student” for Leutrim, who was one of the best students of the Faculty of Medicine, as well as one of the best in the whole UP.

“The zealous and intelligent Leutrim will long live in the memory of his professors and friends, while his absence will continue to be present in the university community. Therefore we want to give this certificate of acknowledgment “Distinguished student” for Leutrim, so that it can appear in the University’s archives as an extraordinary student that he was,” said Dema.

Except for Rector Dema, on the meeting of Leutrim Gjini’s family members, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Merita Berisha, Vice-Rector for development and quality of the UP, Prof. Ass. Ibrahim Rrudhani, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Myrvete Paçarada, as well as Dr. Curr Gjocaj took part.
