UP ORGANIZES THE INNOVATION CONFERENCE

In the University Central Library of the University of Prishtina "Hasan Prishtina" was held the innovation conference "Innovation for a sustainable future" with co-organizer International Business College of Mitrovica (IBCM).

The first part of the conference was devoted to two panels, which focused on strengthening the innovation and addressing social challenges in Kosovo and Europe, as well as for changing and exploring new approaches to approaching the needs of the labor market.

The participants in this organization, with a speech was addressed the rector prof. dr. Marjan Dema, who said that the organization of this conference is very important presenting the cooperation between the triangle: education, business and public sector, a link that he thinks is missing in the traditional system of higher education in Kosovo.

"Today's event brings together everyone to discuss how we can cooperate in the future in order to have a sustainable leadership and I believe we are in the right place to discuss this topic from which derive innovative projects in specialized areas that promote opportunities for employment and training young people of our country, "said Rector Dema.

On the other hand, the director of the International Business College in Mitrovica, prof.dr. Mihone Kerolli-Mustafa, also co-ordinator of the project, is satisfied that such a conference is being held in Kosovo and is gathering local universities.

The last part of the conference was reserved for participating students, who gathered in six groups and together with the mentors discussed various topics such as: volunteer work for young people, the quality of professors, lack of student practice, old methods of lecture and other topics.

The conference "Creating the theory in Practice Centers for Innovation and Employment" is part of the Erasmus + project, which composed of 11 Kosovar and international partners.
