University of Prishtina Invests €329,169 in 2025 to Support Academic Research
The University of Prishtina has granted €329,169.10 in financial support to the staff of its 14 academic units for the year 2025. The funds are designated for scientific papers indexed on the "Web of Science" and "Scopus" platforms, book chapters, and attendance at international conferences.
From today until December 28th, the University will highlight the scientific research conducted by its academic staff across all units, showcasing their contributions to expanding knowledge and increasing the University's international profile.
A key priority for the University is the ongoing improvement and strengthening of both teaching and scientific research. This goal is pursued through international partnerships, diverse training initiatives, publications in top-tier journals and on leading platforms, and by engaging its academic diaspora, whose members work at the world's top 400 universities.
As the oldest, largest, and most prominent higher education institution in Kosovo, the University of Prishtina is ranked highest on major international platforms among all Albanian-language universities in the Western Balkan regions where Albanians reside.
