THE UP PERSONNEL ATTENDS A WORKSHOP IN NORTHWEST REGIONAL COLLEGE (NWRC) IN GREAT BRITAIN

The University of Prishtina, the Faculty of Agriculture and its partners of the project: Creating Theory to Practice Centers for Innovation and Employment – CTPCIE (Project number: 586247-EPP-1- 2017-1-XK-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP 2017-3485 / 001-001) attended a workshop with North West Regional College (NWRC) in Derry, UK.

The main activity of the seminar was discussing the base study results, and working the concept of developing the idea “Theory to Practice (T2P)”. The three-day seminar included the presentation of the base results, lectures on educative and employment policies, the skill gaps, and best current practices of NWRC.

The attendees also visited the Business Support Center – NWRC, similar to the T2P centers, which will also be founded in 6 High Education Institutions of Kosova, including our institution. Their mission will be to provide research, develop studies of the cases, maintain the experts’ network, and collaborate and coordinate regularly their activities with the enterprises. T2P coordinators and the relevant representatives of the University from IAL had the opportunity to observe how similar these centers function and how their staff is engaged in its daily activities, as well as in preserving the relationships with the enterprises and the researchers.
