Rector Hajrullahu Welcomes the Deputy Public Affairs Officer of the U.S. Embassy

The Rector of the University of Prishtina, Prof. Arben Hajrullahu, accompanied by the Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Academic Exchange, Prof. Rozafa Basha, and his legal advisor, Rina Mehana, welcomed the Deputy Public Affairs Officer of the U.S. Embassy, Rebecca Satterfield, during an introductory meeting. 

The distinguished guest visited the UP Rectorate alongside the Embassy’s Higher Education Specialist, Remzije Potoku, and Public Engagement Assistant, Gresë Koca. 

During the meeting, U.S. Embassy officials announced that visiting professors from the United States will join the University of Prishtina through the Fulbright Program. 

Rector Hajrullahu, thanking the Embassy officials for projects that have benefited and continue to benefit the university’s students and faculty, stated, “We are very happy, very open, and eager to advance all types of cooperation.” 

The meeting underscored a shared commitment to continuously strengthen ties between universities and the two friendly nations.
