Rector Hajrullahu emphasized that the Balkan Studies Program will educate new generations with linguistic, cultural, and historical competencies while fostering connections among nations  and cultures in this region of Europe. He also underscored the importance of integrating all higher education institutions from all communities into Kosovo’s educational system to finally break the cycle of divisive legacies inherited from the past.

Additionally, Commissioner Kamp and the OSCE delegation were informed by Rector Hajrullahu that 12 percent of available enrollment slots for new students at the University of Prishtina are reserved for non-majority communities.
