Rector Dema meets respresentatives from Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Research School in Germany – Aiming Introducing Collaboration at University Level
Rector of the University of Prishtina "Hasan Prishtina", prof. dr. Marjan Dema, received today in the meeting Dr. Christiane Wüllner, Managing Director and Dr. Jörn Benzinger, for international affairs from Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Research School in Germany.
Mr. Dema at this meeting was accompanied by the Vice-Rector for Teaching and Student Affairs, prof. dr. Hysen Bytyçi. In this meeting were discussed numerous opportunities for deepening the university cooperation between the University of Prishtina and the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Research School.
Rector Dema thanked Dr. Christiane Wüllner and Dr. Jörn Benzinger for the visit as he informed the UP challenges and achievements, highlighting the work that has been done in advancing and reforming the University. Mr. Dema indicated that the UP has university cooperation agreements with different German and Western world institutions, but wants to further expand this cooperation more consistently with other institutions, such as the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Research School. The team from Germany continued the meetings and talks about the details of the cooperation with the Vice rector for Quality Assurance Prof. asoc. Dr. Merita Berisha, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Suzana Manxhuka-Kerliu, PhD study programs leaders and a group of young researchers from this faculty. The team from Germany was accompanied by two Kosovar compatriots Ms and Mr. Jashari.
