DEMA MEETS WITH THE RESPRESENTATIVES OF STUDENT PARLIAMENT – THEY AGREE TO FURTHER INCREASE THE COOPERATION
The rector of the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”, Prof. Dr. Marjan Dema, accompanied by the vice-rector for international relations, Prof. Dr. Teuta Pustina, and his advisor, Prof. Dr. Rrustem Qehaja, met with the representatives of the student parliament of the University of Prishtina. In this meeting they discussed the opportunities of further cooperation between the students and the university administration to enhance further the quality of the university.
The rector Dema reassured the students that he will stand by them and will support the innovative ideas, which will serve the students of the University of Prishtina. He told the representatives that this will be the year of quality in the university, and this will be achieved by working closely together. He also added that the students will have total support from the university administration, as the latter cannot and does not want to function without the students. Among other things, Dema requested that the students help to carry out the reforms at university, which will serve the students, and then will influence the development and the future of Kosovo.
The president of the student parliament, Muhamet Hamzaj, thanked the rector for his efforts to help the students. “We, as parliament, were and will continue to be constructive, for the benefit of the students and the university’’, he added.
The meeting, in which the students Alketa Islami dhe Fisnik Dukolli were present, too, continued with the presentation of ideas and plans, which the student parliament plans to carry out in the near future with the administration of the University. Among these ideas is a parking lot for bicycles for the students of the university.
