Day Eight of the Summer University: Lectures Resume After Weekend of Excursions
Prishtina, July 14 – Lectures across the 16 courses of the International Summer University of Prishtina resumed vigorously on Monday, following a two-day excursion where professors and students explored various regions of Kosovo.
During the day, faculty members teaching these courses and participating students were visited by the Vice Rector for Internationalization and Academic Exchange, Prof. Rozafa Basha; the Vice Rector for Budget, Finance, and Cooperation with Public and Private Sectors, Prof. Albana Berisha-Qehaja; and Saranda Krasniqi, an official of the International Summer University of Prishtina.
In the afternoon, Nikos Panagioutou, Professor at the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, delivered an open lecture titled “The Great Shift: Beyond the Lecture Hall — Rethinking Universities in the Age of Cognitive.” Held at the Modelarium of the Faculty of Architecture, the lecture brought together students, professors, and guests from diverse backgrounds to reflect on the challenges and opportunities facing higher education in a time of rapid technological and cognitive transformation.
The Greek professor, who has previously participated in the International Summer University of Prishtina, is co-teaching a course this year with Remzije Shahini-Hoxha, Professor of the Journalism Department at the Faculty of Philology, focusing on social media management and creating content that engages audiences.
Tomorrow, the International Summer University of Prishtina will continue with its daily schedule of academic, cultural, and recreational activities.
