The center will be a unique platform for education, research, innovation, and advanced medical, surgical, and interdisciplinary training at the university level.

The Rector also highlighted to the participants the Regulation on Transfers, the "Brain Gain" Program, and guidelines for Exceptional Recruitment Needs of Academic Staff. These were approved by the University of Prishtina Senate on April 30, 2025. He called upon the excellent academic diaspora in attendance to become part of the University of Prishtina.

QKSTK is expected to provide national and international academic and scientific cooperation, research, publications and innovations, education, training, advanced surgery, and the improvement of healthcare in Kosovo and the region.

Rector Hajrullahu and the University of Prishtina, in turn, honored Prof. Latifi with a recognition for all the work he has done.
