UP Professor Bajram Berisha Ranked Among Europe’s Top 100 Scientists for the Second Consecutive Year

Professor Bajram Berisha from the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine at the University of Prishtina has been ranked 29th among the top 100 scientists in Europe in the field of "Agriculture and Forestry," according to the latest AD Scientific Index (2026).

This international ranking, which is based on objective indicators such as the impact of scientific publications (H-index), publications cited at least 10 times (i10-index), total career citations, and citations from the last five years, places Prof. Berisha in a distinguished position within European science. It underscores his consistent and sustained contribution to contemporary scientific research.

The inclusion of Prof. Bajram Berisha in the "Europe Top 100 Scientists" list positions the University of Prishtina as an institution that produces European-caliber scientists characterized by high productivity, advanced standards, and genuine innovative potential. This achievement further strengthens UP's reputation as a research center with international influence.

Professor Berisha also was listed among Europe's 100 most successful scientists in the previous AD Scientific Index ranking (2025). This globally recognized and transparent platform bases its rankings on data sourced from Google Scholar.
