University of Prishtina Opens Its Doors to the New Generation: Admission Exams Begin Across Academic Units

Today, the first round of admission exams for bachelor’s-level studies took place at many faculties of the University of Prishtina. This significant academic milestone was marked by high interest, reflecting the university’s commitment to ensuring a transparent, professional, and encouraging process for graduating high school students. 

Supportive visits were conducted by high-ranking institutional representatives in the halls and facilities where testing occurred: Prof. Avni Hajdari, Vice Rector for Scientific Research, Projects, and Innovation; Prof. Albana Berisha-Qehaja, Vice Rector for Budget, Finance, and Public-Private Sector Cooperation; and Prof. Rozafa Basha, Vice Rector for Internationalization and Academic Exchange. 

During visits to the Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering the vice rectors expressed unwavering support for the students undertaking this decisive challenge. With heartfelt wishes, they encouraged candidates to succeed in their exams. 

Admission exams will continue in the coming days, according to the academic calendar. This year, the University of Prishtina plans to admit 5,723 regular students to its bachelor’s-level programs. 

Admitted students will have the privilege of studying at Kosovo’s largest, oldest, and most successful university, which is also the highest-ranked Albanian-language institution across all regions where Albanians reside in the Western Balkans and worldwide.
