Under the Erasmus + K2 T2P project, a team of four UP-FAV teaching staff, guided by Prof. dr. Hysen Bytyqi, project coordinator for UP, prof. asoc. Arben Mehmeti, Prof. Ass. Dr. Arbenita Hasani and Dr. Sc. Iliriana Miftari participated in the staff mobility from 2nd -6th of December at the University of Geisenheim in Germany. This study visit brought together all project partner.
In the first day, the hosts introduced participants to the history of development, structure and functioning of their institution as well as introduction to study programs and study conditions. Several visits were conducted in the processing facilities (wine, coffee, juices, etc)
One of the key components of the Erasmus + K2 T2P project is the development of Case Studies as an efficient teaching / learning tool that enables the practical application of theoretical knowledge. The UN-FAV participating team was involved in the Case Study design and implementation strategy, and in the busy agenda of the weekly activities, particular emphasis was placed on Case Studies and related issues.
Our team also visited UP student Elinda Sylejmani, who is staying at the University of Geisenheim as a student mobility and made sure everything was going well.
In addition to the above, our team held a series of meetings with the management and staff of the University of Geisenheim. These very fruitful meetings expected to open new paths of our inter-institutional collaboration for the benefit of both.
Furthermore, to strengthen the internationalization process of both institutions, and create added value for the existing T2P project, Hochschule Geisenheim University and the University of Prishtina agreed on the following steps:
- prepare and sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions
- in January 2020, the two institutions work together to prepare the new Erasmus + project in the EU call for application in the spring of 2020.
UP staff addresses endless gratitude to Prof. Dr. Jon Hanf, and Mrs. Sonja Thielemann for their commitment, support and willingness to deepen our cooperation with us.
