RECTOR DEMA SENDS WISHES TO THE MUSLIM BELIEVERS ON THE HOLIDAY OF EID AL-ADHA*
On the occasion of Eid al-Adha holiday, prof. Dr. Marjan Dema, Rector of the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”, sends his best wishes to all the citizens of Islamic faith. In particular Dema sends wishes to the students, the academic and administrative UP staff in this important day for the members of this faith.

On behalf of the management and the governing bodies of the University of Prishtina I wholeheartedly wish you Eid Mubarak! On this day of celebration, be happy for the common good and celebrate with your most beloved by showing sympathy, harmony and by stretching a solidarity hand.
Also, on this great day, I wish that we all reflect on our jobs and commitments, on the obligations we have towards one another, towards our family and friends, in order to contribute much more on our common good.
May interreligious tolerance, respect, solidarity and peace dominate everywhere amongst you.

Translator’s note: *Eid al-Adha – or as it is known in Islam - Feast of the Sacrifice – is a holiday where Muslims all around the world pray and listen to a sermon at a mosque. They also wear new clothes, visit family members and friends and may symbolically sacrifice an animal in an act known as qurbani.
