RECTOR DEMA REWARDS WITH LETTER OF ACKNOWLEDGEMENT PROF. DR. BAJRAM BERISHA, WINNER OF THE "ZIETZSCHMANN-PREUSS" PRICE

Prof. dr. Marjan Dema, Rector of the University of Prishtina "Hasan Prishtina", has rewarded with letter of acknowledgement prof. dr. Bajram Berisha, professor of the Agriculture and Veterinary Faculty in UP. Professor Berisha was awarded with gratitude by UP for his given contribution in the promotion of scientific research in the field of veterinary embryology and the success of taking the “Zietzschmann-Preuss” Award for 2017 by the Managing Board of the International Scientific Foundation “Zietzschmann -Preuss Award ".

Dema has congratulated Professor Berisha for his research and the reward he has earned, while thanking him for his continued contribution to the scientific rise of the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary and UP in general.

"Your name has always honored not only the University of Prishtina, but the whole country. Your research and all academic staff research has led UP to rise even higher in world rankings for scientific research "said Dema.

On the other hand, Professor Berisha was happy for the gratitude he had received from the University of Prishtina. He thanked Rector Dema for the reception while informing the attendees about his journey to this reward for which he said it is group work, but the main prize has been awarded to the University of Prishtina.

The Managing Board of the Scientific International Foundation, "Zietzschmann-Preuss Award" based in Ghent of Belgium (http://www.wava-amav.org/zp/) honored Professor Berisha with the “Zietzschmann-Preuss” Award for 2017. This award devoted to the promotion of scientific research in the field of veterinary embryology is shared to one author over a year and is managed by the World Association of Veterinary Anatomists (WAVA, http://www.wava-amav.org/).

Also, Professor Berisha this year was nominated for the title "Ambassador of the Technical University of Munich" in Germany (https://www.together.tum.de/en/alumni/research/ambassadors). This award is shared by the TUM (Technical University of Munich) President on the eve of the 150th anniversary of the founding of the University. Scientists who have made a special contribution to raising the image and reputation of the University are honored with this title.
