RECTOR DEMA EXPRESSES CONDOLENCES TO THE JASHARI FAMILY

Dear Jashari Family,

We received with pain the news that prof. dr Mehdi Jashari is not among us anymore. As the Rector of the University of Prishtina, together with the management and the students of this university, let me express the most sincere condolences and together with you share the pain that has caught the hearts of each one of us.

In 1983, prof. dr Mehdi Jashari got engaged as a lecturer in the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”, respectively in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports in Prishtina. During his years of engagement in UP, besides the contribution as a professor, prof. Jashari had managerial positions in this faculty, firstly as a Vice-Dean for two mandates and later as a Dean of FPES for one mandate.

Besides the given contribution in higher education, prof. Jashari will also be remembered for his career in the field of national sports, as a: handballer, coach, and referee.

Professor Jashari was an example for his colleagues, students, and all those who knew him. We will remember him with pride as a colleague, professor, and Dean with a high personality.

May we always remember professor Jashari!
