Outstanding UP Students Awarded the "Hasan Prishtina" Prize Receive 500 Euros Each

For the first time in the University of Prishtina's history, the award for outstanding students, named after the patriot Hasan Prishtina, includes a monetary prize of 500 euros.

Twenty-eight bachelor's and master's students from the University of Prishtina who won the "Hasan Prishtina" prize were awarded a total of 14,000 euros.

These students received the prestigious award during a formal ceremony on October 1, 2025, at the Faculty of Philosophy. The event coincided with "Student Day," which marks the anniversary of the 1997 student protests for the return to university buildings.

During the ceremony, the honored students were encouraged to dream big and think independently.

The "Hasan Prishtina" award is the highest student honor, based on the Regulation on Processes and Procedures for Selecting Winners of Honorary Titles, Awards for Outstanding Students, and Recognitions. This regulation was approved by the University of Prishtina Senate on July 18, 2025
