56th Anniversary of UP: Professors and Administrative Staff Honored upon Retirement

At the 56th anniversary celebration of the University of Prishtina (UP), twenty-two professors and four administrative staff members who are concluding their careers this year were recognized for their service.

The professors were honored for dedicating their professional lives to teaching and guiding generations of students. The administrative staff were acknowledged for their steady and committed work in support of the University.

Rector Prof. Arben Hajrullahu presented the awards during a formal ceremony, where he expressed his gratitude to all the honorees for their contributions to the University and its community.

Rector Hajrullahu encouraged the retirees to remain connected to the University after their official retirement, noting that they leave UP in a much stronger position than when they began their roles.

A special plaque was awarded to Sebahate Neziri from the Central Administration for her outstanding dedication and service.

This follows a similar recognition last year, when UP also honored staff members upon their retirement.

The University of Prishtina is the largest, oldest, and most prominent higher education institution in Kosovo, with over 1,000 faculty and staff members.
